Major cryptocurrency exchange Binance has sent out a notice to its users concerning a wallet system upgrade scheduled to take place on the platform on September 22, 2026.
In its announcement, Binance said that on September 22, 2026, at 06:00 (UTC), it will conduct an infrastructure wallet upgrade as part of its ongoing efforts to improve its service experience.
To support the upgrade, Binance stated it will be suspending deposits and withdrawals across its platform from September 22 at 06:00 (UTC) and will resume once the upgrade is complete. The upgrade will take about one hour.
The trading of tokens will not be impacted during the wallet maintenance. Deposits and withdrawals will be reopened once the system is deemed to be stable, but no further announcement will be posted.
Binance announced it will remove and cease trading on four spot trading pairs on September 18 at 03:00 (UTC).
The decision to delist these spot trading pairs stems from its commitment to protect its users and maintain a high-quality trading market. Binance usually conducts periodic reviews of all listed spot trading pairs and may delist selected ones due to multiple factors, such as poor liquidity and trading volume.
The affected spot trading pairs include BREV/USDC, COOKIE/USDC, LA/USDC, and QNT/USDC. The delisting of a spot trading pair does not affect the availability of the tokens on Binance Spot, as users can still trade the spot trading pair’s base and quote assets on other trading pairs that are available on Binance.
As reported, Binance will be delisting five margin pairs on September 18 at 06:00 (UTC). This decision affects Cross Margin Pairs of ENJ/USDC, GENIUS/USDC, CVX/USDC, GUN/USDC, and VANA/USDC, as well as an Isolated Margin Pair, GENIUS/USDC.
Following recent reviews, Binance will delist and cease trading on all spot trading pairs for Pax Dollar (USDP) on September 24 at 03:00 (UTC).
