Coinbase has released a new feature to make perpetual trading easier and seamless after rebranding its Base App to Coinbase Wallet.
Just a few hours after Coinbase announced a major update to its Base App, rebranding the app to become “Coinbase Wallet,” the company has rolled out a new feature alongside the upgrade.
While the move aims to attract more users to the Coinbase ecosystem, it has also expanded its services, fortifying its position as one of the top leading cryptocurrency exchanges across the globe.
In a recent post shared on X, Coinbase’s CEO, Brian Armstrong, showcased the new feature dubbed “Pulse Mode” while encouraging users to download the app to explore the new trading experience.
According to him, Coinbase activated the new “Pulse Mode” feature on Coinbase Wallet to offer users a simpler and more engaging way to trade perpetual futures (perps) directly through the mobile app.
Details shared by other team members describe Pulse Mode as a design that was built to streamline perp trading for mobile users by simplifying the interface and making the process more accessible to traders who want to execute positions immediately.
In addition to this, the Pulse Mode feature also introduces a more dynamic and visually engaging interface for the purpose of attracting the interest of active traders.
While the new feature was rolled out alongside the app’s rebranding to Coinbase Wallet, the company revealed that the new mode is available directly within the Coinbase Wallet mobile application.
As such, users will have the opportunity to access supported perpetual markets without leaving the wallet environment and explore multiple trading options.
