According to XRPScan data, the fixBatchV1_2 has reached 100% consensus and is set to arrive on the XRP Ledger mainnet within 72 hours. Notably, a 100% consensus is rare, well above the network’s required 80% majority threshold.
This follows as the fixBatchV1_2 is a default yes amendment with no need for manual voting and was launched in the xrpld 3.4.1 version released on September 25.
The fix amendment, fixBatchV1_2, addresses a minor issue with Batch that does not pose a risk to funds. As of the time of writing, the details of the fix were not available. According to developers, a detailed technical report will be shared after the fix amendment has been activated.
The fixBatchV1_2 is expected to activate on October 9 alongside the BatchV1_1 amendment. This represents the earliest possible activation date, as validator support for this amendment must stay above 80% the whole way. If it slips to 80% or lower even once, the amendment is rejected, and the 14-day timer starts over.
Batch allows multiple transactions to be bundled into a batch that is processed all together. The BatchV1_1 amendment replaces the initial Batch amendment, fixing a critical bug discovered in the original implementation of the feature.
In a recent development, the Smart Escrow Devnet has been updated, marking the ninth release. It has moved to new infrastructure; the old wasm.devnet.rippletest.net endpoints are retired.
